Blythe Construction Inc. Earns NAPA Diamond Achievement Commendation

Blythe Construction’s North Carolina plants shine like diamonds.
From Charlotte to Stanley, North Carolina, Blythe’s asphalt plants prove they’re committed to producing a quality product.

Blythe Construction Inc., an industry leader in both asphalt production and service, has earned the National Asphalt Pavement Association’s (NAPA) Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Asphalt Plant/Site Operations.

“The achievement of receiving a NAPA Diamond award is a further testament to our group’s commitment to achieving excellence and operating with great care for the environment.” said Alan Cahill, CEO and President of Eurovia USA.

The Diamond Achievement Commendation is a nationally recognized and respected program that encourages and recognizes responsible asphalt plant operational practices and cultivates good community relations. Developed in 1999, the self-assessment process addresses five essential facets of an asphalt plant and its surrounding site: appearance, operations, environmental practices, safety, and community relations.dac-generic

Earning the Commendation exemplifies a company’s commitment to excellence in all aspects of an asphalt facility and symbolizes continuous improvement in operations and community relations. NAPA Chairman James Winford stated, “It clearly demonstrates a corporate commitment to excellence with a community focus.”

“The Diamond Commendations show our employees and customers that Blythe cares about the appearance, operations, safety and environmental impacts of our plant operations.” said Allen Hendricks, Vice President, Asphalt Division. “Blythe has participated in the NAPA Diamond Achievement program for many years. The fact that all of our plants operating in NC, have received this award for 2022, shows the consistency of Blythe’s plant operations across the state.”
